BP: Postcard Final

            For my postcard I used Votolato’s quote “The considerable influence…resulted from their simultaneous appeal to the human intellect, senses and emotions.” To help explain this quote I used a photo that I took at the arboretum of the memorial sculpture for airline passengers killed during a plane crash. I thought this quote fit the photo because of the three characteristics of the quote which are intellect, senses and emotions. 

            I believe the intellect part of the quote is providing awareness for those who lost their lives from the plane crash and to prevent future crashes. The senses part of the quote would be relating to the sense of the passengers (the birds) flying to Heaven. Finally, the emotions part of the quote would be relating to the sadness of the family and friends of those who were killed during the plane crash. Those people can visit the sculpture when they are down and be reassured that those who lost their lives are are not forgotten.
